My thoughts about: Belo Tinted Sunscreen

Hi there people ofย  planet Earth! This will be my first ever blog post and I am very excited about it. I don’t know what to expect about this or if someone will read this, but I don’t care. I’m just gonna write anything and let’s see where this will lead me. *cross fingers*

For this blog, I will be telling you my thoughts about the Belo Tinted Sunscreen. I know, I know, a lot of people have already reviewed this product but I just want to share my own experience with this product. I have just recently bought this and I have also tried this a couple of times already so I think I have enough information to share now.

Let’s first talk about the pros of this product. Well, we already know that once we hear the word “Belo”, we immediately associate it with anything about skin care. I will list down below some of the pro’s that I see with this product.

  1. Skin care benefit- According to its packaging, this tinted sunscreen has SPF 50 PA++++ and for me I think that’s awesome since we rarely see that rate in any makeup products.
  2. It can work as your primer. – I have tried this under my foundation, and honestly, it looked so nice mixed with my foundation. It’s sooo light weight that you can’t even feel it on your face. The only down side for this is that I oiled up just after 4 hours. I have also mixed it with the Belo BB Cream and duuuuuude! That combo lasted for 10 hours on my face and the oil on my face wasn’t even that bad. I didn’t even blot that entire day. Amaaaaziiing!
  3. It has a medium coverage. – I wasn’t really expecting a lot of coverage when I bought this product, but I was shocked the first time I used it. It was able to cover up some of my blemishes.

And now for the con’s.

  1. Shade range. – Although they claim that they have the “Tone Adapt Technology”, the shade of the sunscreen is still too light for my skin. I do hope that they release different shades for this product so that it would really compliment the Filipina skin tone.
  2. The price. – I was only able to buy the small size (10ml) since I only wanted to try it. Even though it was only 10 ml, it still costs Php 170.00. If you’d like to buy the 50 ml version, it is around Php 450.00. But, hey! You can still get a good discount for this item if you buy it online, like in Shopee or Lazada since they often have great sales especially now that the holidays are fast approaching. ๐Ÿ˜‰
  3. Oil Control- This product is not that good with the oil control though. I have tried using it alone, but I did bake my face. However, just after 3 hours after applying it, I oiled up immediately. You really do need to blot and also it fades after a few hours so you will still need reapply it after a few hours.

So, that’s it for my review today (charssst). I hope this blog helped you, and I’m so sorry for the lapses and wrong grammars. ๐Ÿ˜€
